Raymond with his wife Louise Bertolet moved to Delaware in September 2002 to serve as Assistant Church Planters with the Church Extension Ministries of the Bible Fellowship Church. Prior to coming to Delaware the Bertolets served almost nine years as missionaries with Trans World Radio on the island of Guam.
While on Guam Raymond was the teacher on the Source of Light Bible Studies program. This program continues to airs from Guam into the Asia-Pacific region. Over 2,500 students have enrolled in this Bible correspondence program since it began in November of 1995 He also taught on another program called "Praise" and produced a children's program called "Kid's Club." It was during his years on Guam that Raymond graduated from International Bible College and Seminary with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministries.
Raymond had been a carpenter for twenty-two years working in Pennsylvania and Virginia prior to serving with Trans World Radio. He led the Children's Church ministry at Trinity Bible Fellowship Church in Blandon, Pennsylvania for seven years before he and his family departed for Guam. He was active in a number of ministries within the local church and also served as an elder for many years while worshiping at Trinity BFC.
The Source of Light Bible Studies is design to work with the correspondence material that can be requested by writing Bible Fellowship Church, PO Box 1256, Millsboro, DE 19966. There are five different course levels that will help both the new believer and those that have walked in faith with the Lord from many years.
Ray and John are part of a team that is working to plant their second Bible Fellowship Church (BFC) in Sussex County. The first BFC church is located at 24771 Cannon Rd, Longneck.
John Pello along with his wife Judy, moved to Delaware in August of 2004. He has been serving as an outreach assistant with the Bible Fellowship church in planting church here in Delmarva. He has served in the past in Philadelphia and Allentown in proclaiming the message of Christ.
